High school students who participate in AMT’s Medical Scholar program take advanced coursework in partnership with Plaza College and participate in internships at St. Students may participate in competitions sponsored by HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) a national organization dedicated to preparing the next generation of medical professionals. The school has worked to ramp up its academic offerings in recent years, adding Advanced Placement courses and requiring that all 8th-graders take high school level courses in in algebra, Living Environment, and United States history.
